Collection: Emily Nicolaides

Emily Nicolaides is an artist and teacher residing in Richmond, Virginia. She began weaving functional wares in 2013 when she took her first class at Penland School of Crafts. In 2016, she began experimenting with frame loom weaving and unconventional warps. Today she combines linear and circular weaving to create nontraditional shape tapestries through custom-built frame looms.
