Hi! We're excited to work with you!  We open resale appointments every other Sunday at 11AM.

APPOINTMENTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING ON: April 28, May 12, and May 26.

Our Selling Guidelines:

NEW SELLERS: To ensure a successful appointment and to make the most money, please read all the way through before booking.

We do not accept walk-ins: We book a specific number of 15-minute appointments daily, contingent on our inventory and to ensure our intake team is not rushed. You've taken the time to sort through and bring us your clothes; we owe it to you to review and price them carefully and thoughtfully.

What We Buy: We do not buy items with excessive wear, pet hair, holes, stains, missing buttons, etc. We buy adult sizes in good condition, clean/freshly laundered/odor and smoke free. We are more selective on wardrobe basics and all accessories/jewelry.

If you have maternity/nursing, upscale women's or kids' clothes, check out our sister stores! Clementine sells designer and contemporary women's fashion on consignment. Clover sells kids' (sizes newborn-14) + maternity/nursing clothes. Both stores are conveniently located a few doors down from us.

How Much to Bring: We allow 1-2 medium-size tote bags per appointment (a reusable grocery bag is ideal!).  3-4 totes require two appointments for the same day. If you want to bring more than 4 totes, please email us for approval. *Please note: one storage bin/full ikea-size bag is equivalent to two medium bags and therefore enough for one appointment. Please book 2 if you have 2 bins/ikea bags.*

Your Appointment Day: Please allow 10-15 minutes for us to sort through your clothes. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want an itemized list of what we're buying or specific resale prices, you must tell us at drop off. Once processed, your clothes are immediately added to our inventory and cannot be returned to you.

Your Payout: We offer you 30% of the selling price via PayPal or 50% via store credit. We email your payout details by the end of the day. 

    ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

    • Legal name not required for booking appointments, please book with your preferred first name!
    • You may sell two days per week. Additional appointments in the same week will be cancelled.

    • Unless requested at drop off, we cannot return your items. With advance notice, we are happy to discuss the resale prices of specific items or return items you do not want to sell.

    • Unclaimed passes are donated.

    • Multiple no call/no show sellers may be denied future appointments. 

    • Ashby reserves the right to refuse service for any reason.

     

    Don't panic if it looks like appointments are booked for the year! It simply means we're booked for the next two weeks. We often have cancellations, so check back throughout the week. If you have any questions, please email info@ashbyrva.com.
